Brawl Stars Prestige Levels: Progression, Tiers, and Rewards

Brawl Stars prestige levels replace seasonal trophy resets with permanent progression tiers unlocked at 1,000 trophies per brawler. Advancing from Prestige 1 to Prestige 3 secures exclusive gold and neon titles, neon icons, and account-wide battle card upgrades.

How the Prestige System Works

Supercell introduced the Prestige system to remove seasonal trophy decay and give players permanent milestones for individual characters. Under the revised trophy system, standard trophy ladders end when a character hits 1,000 trophies. At that threshold, winning one additional match triggers Prestige 1.

Once a brawler achieves Prestige 1, their trophy floor locks permanently at 1,000 trophies. Subsequent defeats will never drop that character below the 1,000 baseline. Continued play earns Prestige Trophies, which reset to zero on the active progress bar while continuing to add to your account Trophy Road and active trophy quests. The ladder repeats this safeguard at every milestone: reaching Prestige 2 locks your floor at 2,000 trophies, and reaching Prestige 3 secures a permanent 3,000-trophy floor.

Progression Milestones from 0 to 3,000 Trophies

The ladder splits progression into early milestone ranks and three distinct Prestige tiers. The climb from 0 to 1,000 awards cosmetic pins, sprays, and skins before unlocking the brawler title previously tied to mastery tracks.

Progression StageLadder ModifiersRewards and Demands
Path to Prestige (0–999 Trophies)Bot matches on, underdog on, win-streak bonuses up to +10Unlocks player icon and spray at 250, pins at 500, and a 29-Gem skin (or 1,000 Bling) at 750
Prestige 1 (1,000–1,999 Trophies)Bot matches on, underdog on, win-streak bonuses up to +10Unlocks Gold Brawler Title; standard trophy gains remain high with minimal loss penalties
Prestige 2 to 3 (2,000–3,000 Trophies)Bot matches off, underdog off, win streaks disabled, player names hiddenUnlocks Neon Player Icon at 2,000 and Neon Brawler Title at 3,000; strict MMR pairing

Reaching 250 trophies grants a custom spray and brawler player icon. At 500 trophies, players receive three brawler pins covering happy, special, and face-palm emotes. Hitting 750 trophies grants a rare 29-Gem skin, or 1,000 Bling if the brawler lacks an eligible shop skin or if you already own it.

At 1,000 trophies, the brawler unlocks Prestige 1 alongside their classic Gold Brawler Title. Prestige 2 unlocks at 2,000 total trophies, granting a neon brawler profile icon. Prestige 3 sits at 3,000 trophies, serving as the modern equivalent to old Rank 35 achievements and rewarding a second brawler title rendered in neon lettering.

Matchmaking Rules and Trophy Payouts

Matchmaking shifts dynamically across prestige boundaries. Below 2,000 trophies, matchmaking retains casual safety nets. Players can encounter bot matches after losses, receive Underdog trophy compensations, and stack win-streak bonuses up to 10 additional trophies per victory. Standard win payouts provide 10 trophies while losses subtract only a fraction of that total.

Upon entering Prestige 2 at 2,000 trophies, ladder rules change:

  • Bot matches turn off completely.
  • Underdog compensations turn off.
  • Win-streak bonus trophies turn off.
  • Player names display as question marks to prevent win trading.
  • Hidden MMR governs matchmaking based on individual player skill and recent match performance rather than raw trophy numbers.

Trophy payouts diminish as you advance through Prestige 2. Early matches award 8 trophies per win. Above 2,500 trophies, gains drop to 6 trophies, and approaching 2,900 trophies reduces wins to 4 trophies. In Prestige 3, victories yield 2 trophies and eventually scale down to 1.

Due to the limited player pool at 2,500 trophies and above, matchmaking queues often stretch between 3 and 15 minutes. Supercell occasionally activates limited-time Trophy Rush events, which provide double trophy gains for 20 minutes across active queues. A timed rush still applies its multiplier if you enter matchmaking before the clock expires. Random post-match reward crates, including the Chaos Drop, continue to reward cosmetic and resource upgrades during these sessions.

Cosmetic Rewards and Prestige Battle Cards

The Prestige system tracks account-wide progress through the universal Prestige Battle Card. Displayed before every match, this card features a central number representing the sum of all prestige levels unlocked across your entire roster.

The Battle Card visually upgrades based on account-wide achievements:

  • Level 1: Unlocks the base silver-lined frame upon achieving your first Prestige 1 brawler.
  • Level 25: Upgrades into a gold-plated animated frame with particle effects.
  • Level 50: Transforms into a burning violet cosmic frame.

Profiles feature a dedicated Brawlidex screen displaying every individual character's prestige tier. Brawler-specific leaderboards rank players by total prestige levels, while account leaderboards combine standard trophies and prestige totals.

Match Strategies for Prestige Pushes

Climbing through Prestige 1 can be completed reliably in Solo Showdown or standard Brawl Ball queues due to forgiving loss penalties and streak multipliers. Pushing past 2,000 trophies into Prestige 2 and 3 demands pre-made teams to counter coordinated lineups and strict MMR checks.

High-tier ladder play relies on active meta picks, mechanical synergy, and brawler gear upgrades:

  • Tank counters and summoners provide lane control; brawlers like Sirius can establish map presence by converting enemy frontliners into shadow clones.
  • Applying a best hypercharge setup on characters like Crow, Bibi, or Leon turns objective pushes during Brawl Ball overtimes.
  • Equipping defensive gadgets, such as Cosmo's telescope trap to shut down dashes and jumps, neutralizes aggressive assassin compositions.
  • Aligning team picks with map geometry ensures draft consistency in the same manner expected in a high-rank ranked guide.

Maintaining a win rate above 60% is necessary to make steady progress through the 4-trophy payout bracket of late Prestige 2. Establishing lane discipline, tracking enemy cooldowns, and queuing during regional peak activity hours prevents excessive matchmaking stalls during the final climb to Prestige 3.
